- Prepare the first CTAN release under LPPL 1.3c or later.
- Preserve global radius settings and isolate local chart options.
- Read each chart into a private database; leave caller databases and row order intact.
- Preserve braces in nested options and avoid expanding title text and font commands.
- Keep titles containing commas together as one wheelchart item.
- Support RGB triples as well as named colors and xcolor expressions.
- Make the last color-selection option take precedence; include both gradient endpoints.
- Handle single-row gradients, empty descriptions, missing files and columns,

The undocumented, unused `dataset/database` key has been removed.
`innercirclesize` is an initial radius offset, not a diameter.
Sorting accepts comma-separated column names in ascending order, using
datatool numeric comparison for numeric columns and case-insensitive text comparison.
The compatibility keys `sliceColor` and `bgcolorSeries` remain available.
